Our family has been a part of Rossville Christian Academy for two years now and we couldn't be happier. Our kids are receiving a Christ centered education in a smaller setting and we and our kids love it! This school has been making huge strides over the past couple of years and we are excited to be a part of it.
I sent my son to Rossville Christian Academy for a couple of years and he hated the school. He told me kids would yell the most vulgar and cuss words out in class and the teacher wouldn't even hear them say it. He said the bathrooms would have vulgar writings on the walls and stall doors. He told me the paper towel dispenser was never working, they would just sit the paper towel roll on top of the dispenser. He came home one day disappointed about the kids there because they were running and pushing each other in the wall trying to break it, which they did achieve. He also said some kid put a hole in a wall and started to fill it up with trash and food. He told me one of the English teacher was terrible at teaching English and she would play favorites with her students. He said they rarely had a substitute if the teacher wasn't there.
Our 2 daughters have been at RCA for 5 years. We have seen their confidence in life, academics, athletics, and faith grow! Rossville Christian Academy has been a positive experience for our family. We feel our girls are receiving a great education that will allow them to fulfill any future dreams they have. There is no other Memphis area private school with a bigger heart than RCA. I would strongly recommend seeing if RCA is the right fit for your family. It has been a blessing to our family! The King Family
The secretary was mean and awful and I thought she was just mean to me but I asked some of the other parents about her and they said they also have the same problems with her. So I highly don't recommend this school. All this school wants is your money.
We are a Christ centered school that is on a quest to be the best private school in the area and I know RCA is dedicated to making our children the best they can be and we are excited about the shared responsibility we have with the RCA family as a whole.
RCA is dedicated to providing the best education for each child in a Christian environment. Every teacher and admin at the school that I ever encountered has never been anything but professional, with a genuine "best interest" for every child. Cindy Shiver is amazing as well as many other teachers and staff there. They work long hours for little pay and should be appreciated by the parents and students.
